Teluk Pulai Bak Kut Teh, Taman Rashna Klang
Its early Sunday morning, probably around 6.30am and my handphone keeps waking me up from my morning slumber. wtf...its like my only chance to sleep until the sun shines on my lazy butt...why la kacau me...so I picked up the phone preparing to give the caller the sounding of his life. Then from the other side of the phone...
"WOI!!!BLOOODY HELL!!!WAKE UP LAH WE WAIT FOR YOU HOW LONG ALREADY!!!"
oops, we are supposed to go down to Klang for our weekend Bak Kut Teh rituals...hehehe. Within 5 minutes I was driving my way towards the rendezvous point just at the other side of Subang Jaya and a few of us, my and my loyal high school makan kakis were on our way down to Klang for BAK KUT TEH!!!
Now of course, even with tired eyes one must look his best for the ladies right?
Nah dont worry, its just me and my "WTF you playing with my camera u asshole" look
And today is the day we are supposed to go for one of the legendary Klang BKT restaurants, Teluk Pulai BKT located in Taman Rashna Klang, not teluk pulai :p Just behind my childhood primary school lies the legendary place...
Even at 7am the place is packed full of early morning pork lovers. No worries, we managed to snatch a table outta no where, thanks to our good friend KW seen here cleaning his nose infront of the signage mirror...hope that didnt spoil your appetite...
So we placed our order and I took a few pictures around, particularly this shot of the guys preparing our food...you guys are LEGENDS!!!
After around 10 minutes, the food arrived. Quite fast considering the amount of foodies around us. As always, the BKT smells fantastic and the taste as flavourful as ever. This might be a little bit too plain for those who prefers super "kao" BKTs but its alright for us I guess, though I dont mind some extra OMPH! in my bowl of morning pork stew sometimes. For that blurry morning, its just alright :)
So blur we didnt realized that we accidentally ordered some vege as well...haha! Well mom did told us to have our veges so here mom: veges!
The meal cost about RM10 for each of us, tea and rice and all. Perfectly normal price in Klang and very well spent for some good old bak kut teh!
Heres a map for you readers. Coming from Kuala Lumpur using the Federal Highway, just keep left until you reach a roundabout (i think its still called Berkeley Roundabout) then take the first exit at 9 o'clock. go straight all the way till you see a chinese primary school on your left, turn left into a row of shops. Teluk Pulai BKT is just at the end of the shops, very easy to spot.
